The Resume
Oil, Acylic, Collage on 500 lb Velasquez paper
24 x 30" 2003-2012
"A girl gave me her Resume way back in 2004. When i called the number it was disconnected, so I used it in a painting. I was thinking of all the times we all make Resumes and are looking for something: work, a job, a break, a thrill. I think everything and effort you do, and the amount of work you put into something, whether you end up doing it or not has merit and meaning eventually. Work habit is almost as important as the work itself. In some cases more impressive."
