This painting was part of a 20 ft canvas Video Screen Backdrop for the November 2001 Roseland Ballroom show in New York City. This painting marks chlld-like commentary on the 9 or so portraits of President Lincoln he has painted. It is a strong example of the Skrappstraction concept by integrating his quick whit, bold graphic line into a personal piece of nostalgia and history. The band went on to sell out Madison Square Garden in 2007 and 2015.
